Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments.! We are currently sourcing for a Senior Manager of Marketing and Communications to work in Boston, MA, Merrimack, NH, Smithfield, RI or Westlake, TX.
We are seeking a dynamic, tech-curious, strategic and productive marketing and communications leader to drive brand awareness and engagement with the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT). You will communicate and engage audiences through a variety of channels including social, video, web, audio, live engagements, media and more. You bring a consultative and journalistic attitude and hands-on approach to identifying stories within our tech teams and developing integrated marketing campaigns that bring FCAT’s thought leadership and experiments to light. You have the know-how and execution experience to develop go-to-market campaigns for new businesses, both B2B and B2C. You will collaborate with internal and external communications, business, and legal, risk and compliance partners to deliver impactful campaigns within constraints. You turn strategy into action with design, development and delivery of best-in-class marketing and communications materials.
The Team
You’ll be a member of the Marketing and Engagement team within the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology. You will collaborate with an extended and high-performing team of marketing, product and technology experts all focused on delivering innovation that moves Fidelity forward.
The expertise and skills you bring:
- Deep understanding of how to engage audiences through social media, video, articles, podcasts, infographics, newsletters, email, web, events and more
- Make recommendations on the best approach to market/communicate in the most effective manner
- Excellent writing skills (short and long form) and proven ability to create content (e.g., infographics, presentations, storyboards, podcasts, videos, social media posts) to drive key messages
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively based on the circumstances
- Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities
- Data-driven and curious about industry and competitor trends to provide well-informed recommendations
- Comfortable interpreting data, generating insights, and recommending optimizations/new strategies based on campaign performance and other benchmarks
- Experience with marketing technology with the ability to build and launch new capabilities and communications and learn how to effectively use new tools
- Develop and complete complex, multi-channel campaigns end to end
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires resourcefulness to get answers
- Relationship-builder who can advance a positive direction, create and maintain trust, and influence action from others indirectly, making progress in environments where there are many guardrails (such as legal, compliance and/or brand)
- 4+ years experience in marketing, marketing strategy, and/or related fields
- Creative problem solver
- Bachelor’s degree
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including collaboration and team building, influence skills
- Highly organized and solid attention to detail
- Creative and curious, eager to try new approaches and learn new tools to drive impact
