Job Description:

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for managing a team that provides incident coordination across the business. Manages the handling and conclusion of incidents for the company. Provides reports and trend analyses of incidents. Develops incident response frameworks including: policies, standards, and program documentation.
• Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.

How You’ll Do It

• Develops and maintains the Enterprise Incident Response policy and frameworks including: standards, escalation, reporting, incident response, procedures, and governance.
• Manages incident responses and handles the assignment to of incidents to team members for resolution. Reviews and analyses incidents following major issues.
• Promotes and reinforces adherence to processes and policies associated with the Incident Response Policy and standards. Communicates incident details, trends, and governance issues to leadership.
• Ensures the design of the incident process aligns with the business and industry practices.  
• Manages the reporting and trend analysis of incident data.

Qualifications You’ll Need
The Basics

• Bachelors Information Technology, Finance , Security and Intelligence or related
• 6+ years experience in Incident management, Crisis Management, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, National Security/Defense, or related field(s)
• 1+ year experience Staff management (i.e. delegation, hire-fire, performance evaluation, mentoring, motivating, coaching, development, etc.)

Bonus Points If You Have

• In Lieu of Education 8+ years experience in Incident management, Crisis Management, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, National Security/Defense, or related field(s)
• Other: CISSP and/or Certification in Crisis Management

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,000.00 to $178,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
