Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our dynamic Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A). In this pivotal role, you will lead the consolidation and reporting of significant quarterly spend, amounting to $1 billion. Your responsibilities will extend to driving Finance optimization initiatives, collaborating closely with FP&A and finance leaders. Your primary focus will be on spearheading FP&A operations planning, alongside monthly and quarterly forecasting processes.

Compensation within this range is determined based on candidates' skills, expertise, and experience. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in different geographic zones are as follows:
Zone A: $162,500 - $216,600
Zone B: $146,200 - $194,900
Zone C: $134,800 - $179,800
Responsibilities:
1. Lead finance optimization efforts to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of financial planning.
2. Take ownership of FP&A Operations' planning processes, including monthly outlooks, Risks & Opportunities assessments, quarterly rolling forecasts, and long-range planning.
3. Act as a liaison between the FP&A Operations team and other finance functions to manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end calendars and processes effectively.
4. Generate concise, consistent, and insightful monthly and quarterly reports to equip leaders with the necessary insights to drive financial results.
5. Lead and manage finance initiatives/projects end-to-end, collaborating cross-functionally with various business partners in procurement, accounting, and finance teams.
6. Assume a leadership role in ad-hoc projects such as driving efficiency of spend to align with industry benchmarks for software companies.

1. Ability to prioritize objectives effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely delivery of key outcomes.
2. Demonstrated experience in simultaneously managing multiple business stakeholders' budgets.
3. Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
5. A team player who can also demonstrate self-initiative.
6. Possesses a strong work ethic with a proactive "get-it-done" attitude.
7. Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain finance and accounting concepts to non-finance partners concisely.
8. Proficient in managing tasks requiring collaboration with stakeholders across different time zones.
9. Comfortable engaging with senior leaders and challenging the status quo when it benefits the business.
