The Company strives to discover and develop first-in-class and best-in-class medicines-advancing a diverse portfolio of large and small molecules.Job SummaryReporting to the Director of Commercial Training, this field based training position is responsible for meeting and exceeding the Sales and Management training requirements of the Commercial organization at Incyte. Summary of the Essential Functions of the Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Be a subject matter, product/disease state and marketplace expert as assigned by Director.
- Lead and manage the New Hire Home Study process including schedules, coaching calls, assessments, etc.
- Assist in coordination of New Hire Orientation.
- Identify, develop and execute training needed at the Area/Regional level in collaboration with the Area Sales Director, Oncology Business Director and Region Trainer.
- Coordinate Regional Trainer activities and responsibilities.
- Facilitate National/Regional Sales Meeting training workshops.
- Facilitate live and virtual training sessions as assigned.
- Collaborate with Area Sales Director and Oncology Business Directors within assigned Regions to conduct Field Rides with Representatives and provide coaching, feedback and training as necessary.
- Coach and provide feedback to representatives during training sessions and Field Rides.
- Partner with members of the in-house Commercial Training team during design, development and executions of training.
- Develop and/or execute continued and advanced training to align with corporate strategy.
- Assist with training and execution for line extensions and launches.
- Learn new disease state and clinical materials.
- Act as a liaison between the field force and Home Office to identify and communicate training needs.Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5 years successful sales experience is required.
- Hematology/oncology experience is preferred.
- Former training experience preferred (Regional Trainer, Home-office trainer, Preceptorship, etc.).
- High level of professionalism and the ability to excel in a team environment.
- Exceptional presentation/facilitation skills and written communication skills to varying management levels.
- Ability to work in a cross functional and matrix environment.
- Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects.
- Must be able to self-motivate and demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to perform effectively with limited supervision.
- Ability to communicate and teach complex topics
- High level of selling skills with the ability to coach others on effective selling and execution.
- Proven success at performing responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility, objectivity, discretion, appropriate demeanor, and professionalism.
- Experience with key software and hardware is preferred (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Webex, Outlook, LMS, iPad, etc.).
