Senior Manager, Digital Engagement– Job Description
The Senior Manager, Digital Engagement is instrumental executing effective digital tactics, focusing on enhancing our clients' omnichannel approach, optimizing user experiences, and driving results that deliver on client objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital marketing, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of relationship building both internally with colleagues and externally with media teams, creative partners, development teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Tactical Execution:
- Work to implement our clients’ brand strategy and digital best practices in each tactic (email, display, web, social), throughout the asset creation process including content, design, and development
- Make meaningful creative placement recommendations that deliver on client objectives, optimize the user experience, and are appropriate for specific channels
- Media Plan Management:
- Responsible for the full and timely execution of the media plan– ensuring all placements have creative; specs are shared/correct; discrepancies and delays are flagged early; and creative deadlines are met.
- Track creative fulfillment throughout the year by placement, audience, flight
- Build collaborative relationships with media and 3rd party partner teams to foster agility and the highest levels of executional excellence
- Mentorship & Direct Reports:
- Lead and mentor 1-3 digital engagement specialists, developing their skills, identifying opportunities for growth, and keeping a pulse on morale.
- Foster an innovative team environment that encourages professional growth and development, positivity, and problem solving.
- Client Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, based on digital engagement expertise, supporting the Account team in client-facing emails, meetings, and presentations.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Ensure tracking to report on KPIs is implemented and that you have access to the reporting on a specific cadence
- In collaboration with the Experience Strategy team and the Director, Digital Engagement, support the analysis of data, the development of reports, and optimizations based on the data and brand objectives
- Innovation and Trends:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and pharmaceutical advertising.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising sector.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing to patients and HCPs and the processes to which pharmaceutical clients must adhere to get tactics into market.
- Proven track record of developing and executing effective digital tactics.
- Background in building and maintaining strong partnerships with external stakeholders (media vendors, outsourced development teams, CRM service teams etc.).
- Basic understanding of omnichannel marketing including personalized content, user journeys, channel connectedness, segmentation, and more.
- Positive leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders and timelines.
- Strength in developing relationships with colleagues and clients of all levels.
- Experience developing assets for Rep delivery via Veeva CRM is a plus.
- Experience using Meta Ads Manager is a plus.
- Experience working with Sales Force Marketing Cloud CRM (or other equivalent CRM products) is a plus.
The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
$120,000 - $135,000
