About the Job
Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Investor Relations the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations will be responsible for contributing to the development of strategic corporate communications and investor relations programs and will contribute to the execution of programs that enhance Catalyst’s image and reputation among its key constituencies. This includes involvement in preparing external and internal communication materials. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the development and execution of corporate communications and investor relations initiatives, including but not limited to corporate messaging, corporate presentations, social media, investor conferences and earnings conference calls. This role requires a strategic understanding, a proven record in managing highly visible corporate/investor communications efforts, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company-wide strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to preparing and reviewing financial reports, press releases, presentations, and other related materials.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the translation of complex information into clear, concise messages for external stakeholders. This involves understanding the company's financial performance, market positioning, and competitive landscape to communicate the company's value proposition effectively.
- Oversee the IR portion of the company’s website to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Work with key internal stakeholders for the development of internal and external messaging.
- Support execution of investor events, company announcements, and earnings call preparation, including earnings call infrastructure.
- Coordinate planning for investor meetings, non-deal roadshows, and major conferences.
- Assist in answering and gathering information to respond to investors' inquiries.
- Analyze and present market trends and provide insights on market activity
- Prepare communications materials such as updating website content, presentations, etc. This includes involvement in preparing external, as well as internal, communication materials for the quarterly earnings calls, investor meetings, conferences, and ad-hoc events.
- Maintain the IR management information system.
- Bachelor’ degree and 6 years’ experience in corporate communications and investor relations in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
- Proven communication skills, including strong writing and messaging skills, applied consistently in alignment with the business.
- Develop and continuously refine the corporate / investor communications materials.
- Solution-oriented and analytical thinker when navigating complicated scenarios.
- Strong organizational management skills and the drive to lead projects to successful outcomes.
- Thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the biopharma industry.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and detail-oriented skills.
- Proactive, self-starter, able to operate with minimal guidance while working collaboratively within a team environment; works effectively and is open to feedback, with a focus on the collective success of the organization.
- Experience managing external agencies.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and being a good team player.
- Due to the large amounts of information to be processed and presented, applicants must have demonstrated proficiency using MS applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the ERP software of choice used by the company.
- Strong writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, knowledge of financial statements, and the ability to effectively communicate and work with internal and external audiences.
- Team player with demonstrated leadership abilities. Analytical thinking and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
