About the Job
This role will provide conceptual and writing innovative copy for residential, B2B and digital communications within a corporate environment. The majority of creative concepts and writing style will be leveraged across various platforms. This position is responsible for managing the brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words. Strong, proven TV, print and digital experience. Those platforms include web, communications, field support, video and more. Senior Manager-Copy requires minimal supervision of work and functions as the Account Executive and Project Manager on all projects.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Responsible for being a creative strategist to manage major advertising campaigns from development through completion.
- Leads all planning, strategy and execution of efforts in the area of TV content.
- Manages project roadmaps, creative and production schedules, and monitors these throughout the production.
- Mentors partners/vendors by anticipating roadblocks and providing feedback and guidance on creative and production issues.
- Must have advanced knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of writing copy for print, Web, and audio-visual media.
- Blend an array of ideas and concepts into a single cohesive message while maintaining the voice of the business.
- Write clear and persuasive copy for different media platforms.
- Research internal product solutions and write persuasive and appealing product positioning.
- Work directly and effectively with business leads and designers in collaboration to develop creative concepts and ensure that all copy remains consistent with the strategy decided upon and on-brand.
- Communicate effectively with team members to seek information and resolve questions regarding any aspect of projects.
- Ability to demonstrate effective time management - handle and prioritize multiple projects regardless of the inevitable changing scope, timelines, goals, deliverable, etc.
- Showcase a strong print and online portfolio of conceptual work.
- Stay abreast on the best practices and trends in content generation, SEO, and accessibility standards.
- Revise, edit, and proofread content as needed.

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

- Organized, self-sufficient, and self-motivated
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate proficient project management skills
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
- Copywriting Experience - 8-10
- Project management experience - 5-7
- Experience in the media industry is a plus
