We’re looking for: As the Leader of our Cloud Engineering and Operations team, you will apply your engineering leadership skills and knowledge of infrastructure and software development to build the next generation of Privacera’s SaaS infrastructure. This role includes managing a high-performance Cloud Engineering team to build the highly secure cloud infrastructure. In this role you will be responsible for the Privacera SaaS’s Cloud Operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure platform in AWS environment
- Working cross-functionally in close partnership with product, engineering, and post-sales teams to deliver a high-quality product and service
- Managing, innovating, and creating programs, new software, analytics that drive improvements to the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of Privacera SaaS services.
- Developing strategic directions, workforce plans, and organizational structure for the reliability teams within each product group.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining Cloud security guidelines, standards, and best practices within the cloud architecture
- Setting up processes to monitor environments for security vulnerabilities and independently take action to remediate and/or mitigate risks;
- Managing account administration on complex Multi-Cloud platform;
- Managing CloudOps to provide 24x7 support and management of the SaaS infrastructure
- Providing timely and appropriate communication to business owners, stakeholders, and users on issue status and resolution;
- Working to continually improve our SLA compliance, working with legal and technical teams for both accurate measurement of SLAs and accurate reporting.
- Placing Security high in everyone’s mind, encouraging a positive and reinforced culture throughout Privacera’s SaaS teams
Your experience should include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team and experience managing multiple cross-functional projects.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in an infrastructure engineering or software engineering role
- Large breadth of technical knowledge crossing security, networking, software development, cloud infrastructure, Linux, and distributed systems
- Experience growing and building highly effective teams across geographies and time zones
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
- Good understanding and hands on experience with modern software delivery to the Cloud – Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery process and tools.
- Cloud Operations experience in AWS environment with other clouds as a plus (Azure, GCP)
- Experience designing and operating Cloud Observability system assuring that any issues are discovered and remediated within strict SLA guidelines
- Went through at least one end to end deployment of a large scale SaaS deployment
- Went through at least one end to end process of obtaining SOC2-Type2 certifications for the SaaS offering
