The Sr. Business Intelligence Manager is a strategic leader crucial to empowering a team of analysts that provide the Leadership Team (LT) with essential reports, information, and analyses for informed decision-making. This position involves close collaboration with various departments to establish and refine performance metrics, ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are carefully selected and effectively monitored. The manager's responsibilities include enhancing business processes across the organization to maximize efficiency, particularly by reducing non-productive field time.
Leading a team of six analysts, the manager oversees the generation of a comprehensive suite of reports, including process-focused, tactical, and exploratory analyses, as well as national scorecards. These analytical tools are vital for the Sales, Talent, and Operations teams to monitor performance and propel the organization forward. In essence, the Sr. Business Intelligence Manager is instrumental in embedding data-driven insights into the core of the organization’s operational excellence and growth strategies.
Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of analysts to deliver strategic reports, insights, and analyses that drive informed decision-making.
- Work together with RBNA Sales LT and reporting teams to ensure alignment between both companies reports and strategies.
- Leverage expertise in Sales data landscape and systems (Trade Sales, Off Take, Customer Profitability Management, Financial Sales, Inventory, etc.) to generate cross-functional insights
- Collaborate with each department to define the performance measuring methodology, including the selection of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the development of tracking mechanisms.
- Drive organizational efficiency by optimizing business processes, reducing non-productive field time, and enhancing overall productivity.
- Ensure that our reporting suites strategically evolve to enhance distribution and sales in response to data and trends by evaluating current solutions and recommending innovative data solutions.
- Lead Sales planning and KPI development
- Lead a team of six analysts to deliver comprehensive, centralized process-related, tactical and exploratory sales reports, as well as national scorecards for Sales, Talent, and Operations.
- Develop dashboards and self-service tools to provide visibility and standards by which ad-hoc requests are based.
- Analyze and make recommendations for improved data quality and reporting system automation to support strategic initiatives.
- Participate in special projects that work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help drive efficiencies and revenue growth
- A minimum of seven years of reporting and analytics experience working with large quantities of raw and disorganized data with at least three years of experience leading/managing a team
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI Platforms such as Tableau or Power BI with the ability to perform complex functions within Excel in order to manipulate and calculate data for analysis
- CRM tools and BI tool proficiency with the ability to create and distribute dashboards
- Understanding of statistical methodologies including linear regression, logistic regression, etc. and expertise in at least one analytical software package such as Excel, SAS, and/or related
- Expertise in project management with strong organization, time management, presentation and multi-tasking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
