The Senior Manager for Affiliate Financial & Operations Excellence is responsible for the NeueHealth Affiliate Providers (APs) financial and operations delivery and execution against established goals and manages the implementation, performance, and ongoing relationship between the APs and NeueHealth. You will be responsible for all aspects of NeueHealth activities impacting the success of the APs across NeueHealth's diversified business lines including: ACO REACH (Medicare FFS), Medicare Advantage, Market Place Individual & Family Plans and Managed Medicaid.
The Senior Manager for Affiliate Financial & Operations Excellence will be the NeueHealth point of contact for all communication with the APs, maintaining close communication with the APs and integrating into their operations as appropriate. In this role, you will support identification of financial and operational improvement opportunities, risks and insights, as well as monitor and report key performance indicators specified in the value-based agreements and create recommendations for required actions. You will be responsible for developing financial models assessing the performance of the APs, tracking financial and operations initiatives and uncovering insights and key success drivers, presenting to partners, developing actionable reports, and listening to partner and provider input to improve our reporting and insights.
Preferred candidates will have healthcare consulting, finance, strategy or analytics experience, and are well-organized, insightful, the ability to listen well and incorporate feedback into your deliverables, and a track record of delivering in fast-paced and complex client-service settings. A plus is a background working directly with provider groups developing financial & operational KPIs and report sets, creating improvement initiatives and delivering strong results. You consistently listen before acting; lead with accountability; and engage with attention to detail. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day interactions between NeueHealth and assigned APs
2. Develop financial models assessing Affiliate provider status, identify and communicate improvement opportunities, and develop KPI dashboards monitoring status compared to established financial & operations goals
3. Schedule and prepare presentation materials for regularly scheduled JOC/leadership meetings
4. Establish full understanding of each assigned AP's financial and operational structure from implementation through ongoing operations
5. Coordinate business development and marketing activities between APs and NeueHealth (including go to market)
6. Foster and coordinate AP and NeueHealth touchpoints
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, math or science, or equivalent work experience required.
- Five (5) or more years of professional healthcare experience in the area of medical economics, ideally with a focus on consulting, analytics, finance or strategy
- Expertise in understanding and reporting on healthcare financial and operational KPIs, including developing financial models.
- At least three (3) years of experience in managing value-based contracts for provider entities.
- Understanding of value-based reimbursement principles, reporting and analytics required.
- Understanding and experience in working with clinical and operational teams required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Visio, SharePoint

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work responsibilities are performed in a remote home or open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer. Some travel may be required. Expect some in person interaction with the APs.
