Director of Accounting - KBW Financial

A fast-growing technology company, in the Greater Boston area, has teamed up with KBW on a search for a Senior Accounting Manager / Director of Accounting.  This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team with a company experiencing explosive growth.  The Senior Accounting Manager / Director of Accounting will report to the VP of Finance and manage a small team.  The Senior Accounting Manager / Director of Accounting will be responsible for the following:

• Ownership of the financial close, financial statements
• International Consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
• Technical accounting including revenue, contracts, and leases
• Inventory / COGS
• Systems improvements / implementation
• Process improvement
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Audit preparation

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• BS degree required
• 4+ years of related experience
• Public accounting required
• 3+ years of technical accounting experience
• CPA desired
• Excellent communication skills

Compensation:  base, bonus + equity (DOE)
