Senior Maintenance Technician
Alliance Health System is looking for a full time Senior Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly expanding team.This person will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical locations and the safety of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily clinic/facility maintenance log
- Communicate with clinic directors and senior leadership regularly for requests
- Repair and maintain therapeutic modalities
- Assemble, build, mount, install basic clinic necessities
- Capable of high quality workmanship with hand tools/basic power tools
- Basic structural knowledge required for facility safety (ex: wood vs. steel studs)
- Including: mounting pictures/frames, assembling furniture, replacing door handles,installing load bearing brackets/mounts for rehab equipment, assorted wall fixtures including TVs, whiteboards, dispensers, AED cases, etc.)
- Communicate equipment needs with Director of Operations for approval/purchasing
- Work closely with General Contractor or third party for larger maintenance projects
- Prioritize requests based on need for efficient patient care in each location.
- General facility maintenance as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to drive to our multiple clinic locations
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in equipment inspection and maintenance
- Proven experience in collaborating with equipment vendors and manufacturers.
- Basic knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with general maintenance tasks and hands-on experience in facility upkeep.
- In-depth knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation equipment and its maintenance requirements.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration with vendors, manufacturers, and clinical teams.
- Proficiency in keeping detailed service logs and documentation.
- Handyman skills for addressing general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail in conducting routine inspections and maintaining accurate service logs.
- Flexibility to assist with general maintenance tasks and address unforeseen issues.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with clinical teams and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe environment through detailed equipment inspections and safety meetings.
