Under the direction of the facilities Manager, the Senior Maintenance Technician will maintain the day-to-day building systems/feature operations across all St. Mary's Bank locations, as well as oversee our I-Support Ticket System and perform break/fix tasks as we receive tickets based on priority/urgency. This includes but is not limited to facilities maintenance, vendor consultation, coordination and oversight for outsourced facilities work.
Standards of Performance and Goals:
- Performs general maintenance for all facilities as required, ensuring that all St. Mary's Bank facilities are maintained and kept up in a professional, efficient save and clean manner. Effictively responds to facilities issues and emergencies as required 24/7. Accurately assesses priority of incoming requests and responds/addresses higher priority items first. Communicate reasonable ETA to requesters for all incoming requests. Identifies and addresses or reports to the Facilities Manager any non-reported facilities issues or concerns.
- Effectively maintains, coordinates and overseas work performed by outside vendors to ensure high quality service and results at the best value. Coordinates access to facilities for vendors during and after normal business hours as required. Escalates vendor concerns to the Facilities Manager as needed.
- Responsible for developing, implementing and managing an efficient and cost-effective purchasing system for the Credit Union. Assists the Mail Courier when filling weekly orders from the Central Supply Room. For each branch location, monitors Central Supply stock and purchases items, ensuring that the Credit Union supplies are purchased in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Makes recommendations for savings and/or better values. Assists in the delivery of Central Supply orders to locations as needed.
- Acts as back-up to the Courier who is responsible for the processing of incoming and outgoing mail for St. Mary's Bank and ensures the integrity of the packages and parcels are accurately and timely delivered.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- Three or more years of experience directly performing general maintenance of facilities.
- Experience overseeing work performed by vendors is desired.
- General knowledge of construction and HVAC systems.
- Ability to lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Able to work cooperatively as a team player, successfully handle multiple tasks and varied assignments, and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends if required.
