We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and longevity of our manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reliability-centered maintenance, with a proven track record of improving system performance and reducing downtime.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to improve reliability and performance of manufacturing systems.
2. Conduct routine inspections and audits of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
3. Lead root cause analysis investigations of critical maintenance and reliability related occurrences and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Work closely with other engineering teams to design and modify equipment and systems for improved reliability and maintenance.
5. Develop and manage predictive and preventive maintenance programs, ensuring timely and effective execution.
6. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use this data to drive continuous improvement in maintenance and reliability.
7. Train and mentor junior staff members on best practices in reliability-centered maintenance.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance and reliability engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with reliability-centered maintenance is essential.
4. Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance processes and techniques.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
6. Proficiency in using Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively in a team.
8. Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
