Senior Maintenance and Capital Projects Manager - Ajulia Executive Search

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods across the facility.
• Lead, manage, and execute capital projects from concept to completion ensuring they meet budget, scope, and timeline requirements.
• Direct and oversee a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring proper training and compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and systems to identify needs for upgrades or repairs.
• Manage the annual maintenance budget and ensure cost-effectiveness in all operations.
• Collaborate with various department heads to coordinate maintenance and project activities that support overall operational goals.
• Prepare detailed reports on the status of projects and maintenance initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety, health, and environmental.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and other external parties.
• Utilize maintenance management systems to monitor work orders, track maintenance activities, and optimize workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Food Processing, including Thermal Processes and/or sanitation
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, Plant engineering and/or capital project execution, preferably in a relevant industry.
• Proven experience in managing budgets, overseeing large-scale projects, and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, delegation, and time management.
• Proficient in MS Office and maintenance management software.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Certification in project management (PMP) or a similar credential is highly desirable.
