Job Details
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of litigation issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings
- Assist in all stages of litigation, from case inception to trial and appeal
- Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and tactics
- Stay abreast of legal developments and case law relevant to assigned matters
Qualifications:
- Admission to the bar in California
- 3 or more years of litigation experience at a reputable law firm or government agency (experience level may vary based on seniority of position)
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
