Senior Litigation Attorney from Elgen Staffing

Our  client, a growing law firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney, to join our winning team in Fort Lee.

Our candidate of choice will bring a minimum of fifteen years experience practicing litigation law. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis or Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents and pleadings with precision, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather information and negotiate settlements.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records within the law office.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategies and case preparations.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations pertinent to various areas of law.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 15 years of successful litigation experience,
• A Bar Exam of the States of New Jersey (Required) and New York (Preferred),
• A strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset,
• A superior reading comprehension and written communication ability,
• An extreme attention to detail and organization,
• A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
• Preferably run, or still running, your own practice, so as to think as an owner, rather than merely a salaried individual.
