Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including white collar litigation, securities enforcement, civil litigation, and regulatory receivership.
2. Develop and implement litigation strategies in coordination with the team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
3. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.
4. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other court filings.
5. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal precedents, and industry regulations that may affect our clients.
8. Participate in business development activities to build and maintain client relationships.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5+ years of experience of civil litigation
4. Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, opposing counsel, and team members.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Willingness to keep up-to-date with changes in the law and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and case developments.
10. Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
