Senior Level Mechanical Engineer - Latitude, Inc.

New Job Opportunity - Senior Level Mechanical Engineer:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Baltimore, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer with at least 6 years of related professional experience. 
Must have Need PLC experience.
CERO 3D and COMSOL is highly preferred. 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• This is a hybrid position, but will have to be onsite 5 days a week for first 6 months. After that, 1-2 days from home per week is a possibility.
• Compensation is dependent on experience (Our client is looking to pay within a range of 120k-200k).

Day to Day Activities:

• Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares, or applies engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures
• Building of power converters - 3D Packaging 
• Designing project frameworks related to 3D
• Review and oversee the manufacturing of designs.
• Organizes, analyzes, and prepares reports or presentations of technical data and information
• Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components
• Compiles, processes, reduces, or analyzes test data results.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering - At least 3.3 GPA 
• PLC experience.
• CERO 3D and COMSOL is highly preferred. 
• Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is preferred
• Must have a strong understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology.
•  experience in mechanical and thermal design and analysis
• Have a strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD understanding
•  Must be able to read schematics and Blueprints.
