LESCO is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Senior Analyst/Logistician. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for a broad spectrum of logistics and supply chain tasks related to military rotary aircraft and unmanned aerial systems (UAS), including (AH-64, CH-47, UH-60, T700, T55) parts receiving, inspection, documentation review and correction, storage management, and various logistical operations. This is an on-site position co-located at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) measurements to verify compliance with design specifications for complex aircraft components and assemblies.
- Evaluating system integration practices and principles to ensure optimal functionality.
- Managing the preservation and protection of parts awaiting repair, reclamation, or disposition to prevent further damage.
- Determining the acceptance or rejection of materials during inspection and performing non-conformance reporting in accordance with established standards.
- Supporting efforts to reduce obsolete and non-repairable rotary aircraft parts within the warehouse environment.
- Reclassifying and re-tagging parts (e.g., DD Form 1500 series) and preparing necessary documentation (e.g., DA Form 2410) as specified in Department of Army (DA) Pamphlet PAM 738-751, including inventory control management and time-life tracking for various Department of Defense (DOD) services.
- Facilitating the logistics processing of repair/reclamation parts to Army/Navy/Airforce maintenance contracts, programs, and sites through direct transfer, the government supply system, or commercial carriers.
- Managing all forms of correspondence (verbal, written, email, and telecommunication) related to logistical support and ensuring clear communication across all levels.
- Forklift operation
- Assembling and disassembling office cubicles as required for organizational efficiency.
- Experience in inspections of aircraft parts and has helped engineering in developing repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems.Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, Technical Manuals (TM), Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWR), schematics and other related technical data.
- Knowledgeable in Army aviation technical manuals
- Knowledgeable in rotary aircraft electrical and structural depot level engineering repairs
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and able to work independently
- Army aviation experience
- Previous military experience
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience and a comprehensive understanding of logistics processes, particularly in the military rotary aircraft sector. A strong ability to manage complex systems, assess technical requirements, and maintain accurate records is essential. In addition, candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of inventory control, technical documentation, and the logistical operations associated with military rotary aircraft and related systems.
- Must be a US citizen
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 9+ years of engineering/technical experience
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- Depot level maintenance and overhaul experience with US Army Rotary wing aircraft turboshaft engines, components and "piece" parts.
