Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Senior Java Developer to join their team. Summary: The Senior Java Developer will be focused on is the company's CMS (coupon management system) and will be assisting in a massive cloud migration to GCP and off of their legacy payments platform - Tandem. They are looking for someone with a proactive approach who can learn the system. They must be an expert in core java along with springboot and cloud concepts. They would ideally like candidates to have retail and POS/payments experience. The Senior Java Developer position is mostly backend with Java 17+, Springboot, and hosted in GCP/Kubernetes. Business acumen and ability to communicate with teams in a fast-paced agile environment is important.

Requirements:

5+ years of Java experience
POS experience is highly preferred
Retail experience preferred
Expert in springboot
Experience in Cloud (GCP preferred)
Expert in Kubernetes and cloud concepts
Ability to communicate/collaborate with stakeholders in a fast paced agile environment
Strong problem solver with a proactive approach

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
