Our client is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join their IT team. This organization delivers cutting-edge solutions to its clients, utilizing a combination of cloud-based and on-premises technologies. The ideal candidate will bring at least seven years of experience in IT system administration, infrastructure management, and application support, with demonstrated expertise in endpoint management and third-party application administration. About the Position
Oversee and manage application packaging, deployment, and updates to ensure seamless integration across the organization while providing expert technical support for third-party and industry-specific software solutions. Collaborate with vendors to enhance third-party applications, lead patch management using tools like ManageEngine or Intune, and administer Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Express databases. Troubleshoot and integrate IT hardware, manage workstation lifecycles, and deploy antivirus solutions to maintain cybersecurity. Support financial systems such as QuickBooks, resolve global IT issues, and implement emerging technologies. Work closely with the IT team to optimize a hybrid infrastructure combining on-premises systems and Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in patch management tools like ManageEngine, Intune, or similar platforms.
- Advanced experience supporting and troubleshooting third-party applications, with Oil and Gas industry software knowledge as a plus.
- Strong command of antivirus administration, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, scanners, and local printers.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and group policy management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Express.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is a significant advantage.
- Experience with financial applications like QuickBooks or BST is desirable.
- Passion for learning and implementing innovative IT solutions that drive business value.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global IT environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7+ years in IT system administration, infrastructure support, and application management.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly advantageous.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to work occasional off-hours or weekends as required.
- Multilingual abilities are a bonus.
- This is a Dallas, Texas-based hybrid role offering flexibility and collaboration.
