HC-Resource is looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join a growing MSP. You will be responsible for the onsite and remote IT service needs of their customers. This role will support customers' technology needs, including Microsoft/Apple desktops and laptops, Microsoft-based servers, printers, networks, and other IT-based technologies. Additionally, you will be the escalation point for tasks that other support engineers cannot resolve.
Main Responsibilities:
Most customers are located along the Colorado Front Range, including the Denver, Boulder, Brighton, Lakewood, Littleton, Lafeyette, Longmont, and Loveland metro areas. This is a work-from-home position that will require travel to our customers' locations. Our ideal candidate would live in the Denver Metro Area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with our clients to provide support for their Field and Remote IT service needs
- Serve as an escalation point for tasks that other support engineers cannot resolve
- Maintain time and expense entries in our Autotask ticketing system
- Monitor our Datto RMM solution
- Maintain customer backup solutions
- Perform proactive maintenance on our customers' IT environments
- Maintain Client and Company Documentation in ITGlue
- Stay current on IT technologies
- Participate in the On-Call Rotation
- Provide onsite support to clients
- Provide after-hours support as required
- Provide high-level IT Support for Microsoft-based operating systems and software
- Manage Windows servers and software at our customer locations
- Provide IT Support for customer-specific software applications
- Knowledge and experience with network infrastructures such as routers, switches, VPN solutions, wireless access points, servers, printers, and desktops
- Provide admin support for Office 365 and its related technologies
- Communicate with customers to keep them informed on their incidents or project status
- Maintain ownership of all assigned tasks
- Utilize troubleshooting tools and techniques to quickly resolve our customers' IT- related issues
- 4 years of IT experience required, with previous MSP experience preferred
- An associate degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, Electronics, or equivalent technical or military training in a relevant field is a plus and can substitute for work experience
- Familiarity with Datto RMM, Autotask, ITGlue, and other Kaseya-related products (not required but nice to have)
- Must have good attention to detail and be self-motivated
- Experience with PSA/Ticketing systems such as Autotask PSA
