Senior IT Project Manager - Select Staffing Solutions

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Administrator with strong experience and a proven track record of managing or supporting large scale integration projects in the insurance industry.
  
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing issues and risks, ensuring that they are effectively managed and resolved on time and in alignment with program schedule.
  
• This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Project Coordination:  Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of deliverables, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
  
• Issue and Risk Management:  Identify, document, and track project issues and risks. Develop mitigation strategies and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  
• Documentation:  Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and issue/risk logs.
  
• Stakeholder Communication:  Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and management. Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and risks.
  
• Meeting Facilitation:  Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring that agendas are set, minutes are recorded, and action items are tracked.
  
• Resource Management:  Assist in the allocation and management of project resources, ensuring that team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  
• Quality Assurance:  Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with project objectives.
  
• Continuous Improvement:  Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for project management and infrastructure processes.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, project management, or a related field.
  
• 10 years overall of related work experience (IT and insurance)
• 3+ years of experience in project administration or coordination, preferably in IT infrastructure projects.
  
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid and tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Trello.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software.
  
• Experience with IT infrastructure technologies and concepts (e.g., networking, servers, cloud computing).
  
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and tools.
  
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
