Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports.
- Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Review and improve inventory accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in accounting, exposure to inventory accounting is a major plus.
- Proficiency in Blackline is a plus
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
