We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Senior International Tax Analyst to join our fast-paced and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to showcase your expertise in international taxation and contribute to our company's financial health. In this role, you will be responsible for handling a multitude of tax-related tasks, including tax compliance, tax planning, and tax research for our international operations. This position requires a deep understanding of international tax laws and regulations, and the ability to use tax software such as SAP and OneSource Tax Provision.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review international components of the US Federal income tax return including Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118.
- Assist with international tax aspects of US GAAP tax provision, including calculation of the effective tax rate, tax reserves, and deferred taxes.
- Conduct tax research and planning to optimize tax outcomes and ensure compliance with all applicable international tax laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with international accounting teams to gather information for tax compliance and reporting.
- Assist with the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related financial information.
- Keep abreast of changes in international tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (such as CPA, MST, or JD) is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in international tax
- Proficiency in tax software such as SAP and OneSource Tax Provision is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP is a plus.
- Ability to interpret and apply international tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Modeling experience is a plus.
