The Amazon Books Operations Team is looking for a bright, enthusiastic, and analytical candidate with a ability to solve problems and simplify processes.
The Senior Instock Manager position offers a dynamic introduction to our online retail business and a training ground for future success focused on operations and supply chain management. The Inventory Specialist supports the team that works directly with strategic vendors to help improve their success at Amazon by building and nurturing an operational partnership. The Inventory Specialist will help to create an engaging experience for our vendor partners by driving issue resolution in a timely manner. The ISenior Instock Manager candidate will have the opportunity to identify improvements in our vendors' supply chains, invent solutions for improvement and pro-actively identify potential issues before they surface.

Responsibilities
The Senior Instock Manager role will be responsible for the following:
- Root causing and resolving operational exceptions such as out of stock products, missing site offers, supply chain disruptions, etc.
- Handle the day-to-day volumes of the assigned tasks and ensure the given SLAs (Service Level Agreement) are met per quality standards.
- Developing and updating reporting focused on key operational performance indicators.
- Work Schedule would be 8am PST to 5pm PST (Mon-Fri).
- We follow Amazon's global guidance on RTO
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of with Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
