Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- In collaboration with the Project Coordinator, reviews and understands installation requirements and pertinent schedules Analyzes documentation such as, but not limited to project orders, drawings, and manuals before commencing work to confirm specifics of the project at hand
- Conducts inventory of all necessary tools and materials to ensure they are available, orders new additional items as needed
- Reviews, identifies and inquires about any missing or unclear information regarding a project and proactively provides insight to the Project Coordinator
- Performs the installation of steel processing machines and/or production line in accordance with established schedule · Sets up, aligns, and assembles designated machines and/or machine lines at customer locations
- Acts as technical point of contact during the installation process, while providing updates on progress to the Site Supervisor or Project Coordinator
- Conducts mechanical and electrical testing of machinery to meet required quality standards
- Performs thorough quality checks on both individual work and the work of Installation Engineers
- Ensures accurate and timely submission of business expenses, working hours, and daily work reports
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%.
- Must be able to work three weeks on the job and one week off format.
- Experience working in the steel manufacturing industry 3 – 4 years.
- Professional experience in working with mechanical and/or electrical machinery.
- Being able to speak, read, and write the English language is required to interact effectively with internal and external customers while out in the field.
- Advanced computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, etc.) at least two years.
