? ...Is customer centric

? ...Has experience with on-prem environments including networking, DNS, Windows servers, and virtualization
? …Has experience with cloud infrastructure including Azure or GCP
? …Can mentor other engineers
? …Will own solving problems, even when they don’t know the solution
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
? Physical and virtual server management
? VMWare, Hyper-V, and/or Nutanix configuration and management
? Windows Server configuration
? Windows Admin Center server migrations
? Server Patching
? Configure backups and health monitoring
? Collaborate with architects and team leaders
? Logging and monitoring best practices for infrastructure
? Proactive improvements for higher availability, QoS and security
? Identity management (AD/Entra)
? Networking on-prem and in the cloud
Requirements:
? 10+ years of infrastructure experience
? Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
? Solid communications with effective written and verbal skills
? Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment
? Houston, TX based resource

Additional Information:
Candidates must reside in the Houston area. Remote work is expected the majority of the time, however occasional trips to the office or a client location in, or around, Houston will be required.
