Infrastructure Engineer in Baltimore, MD.
This is a full-time opportunity and offers outstanding benefits.We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network and Systems Administrator to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Cisco skills with 7 or more years of experience, along with expert knowledge of Microsoft AD, MS Azure, O365 (Microsoft 365), and associated licensing.
This individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and continuously improving our organization's operating environment, ensuring the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of our infrastructure.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the organization’s operating environment.Operation and maintenance of the onsite data center as hosted solutions and virtual co-location facilities.Assist with set-up and staging of relevant equipment as needed.Ensure basic information technology security principles are adhered to across the organization, including oversight of patching workstations, servers, and other infrastructure components.Maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the infrastructure, including monitoring operating environments, responding to incidents, and planning for growth.Ensure that storage, archive, backup, and recovery procedures are functioning correctly.Assist in creating and maintaining relevant documentation related to the network and surrounding architecture.Network Administration, including performance tuning, designing enterprise wired and wireless solutions, troubleshooting advanced network problems, and preventing and/or remedying security network incidents.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.8 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of IP network core and advanced concepts, virtual and physical servers, and storage systems.Strong working knowledge of LAN and WAN network solutions/devices, Next-gen firewalls/IPS, Active Directory components, VMware virtualization solutions, enterprise SAN/NAS technology.Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.Works well with others or independently on the required activities.MinUSD $130,000.00/Yr.MaxUSD $155,000.00/Yr.SummaryIndustry: Information Technology and ServicesJob Family: Managed Services / LCS / StaffingLevel: Full Time
