LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a proven Senior IT Consultant for a long-term opportunity in the Century City area. The Senior IT Consultant is a forward-thinking leader with strong organizational skills who researches, analyzes, and implements innovative technology solutions to support the goals and strategic priorities of our client’s organization. This Consultant will stay on top of all developments as relates to use of technology in the workplace and cybersecurity, develops and recommends IT strategies, oversees the infrastructure of technical operations, manages a team of IT and facilities employees, tracks technology, eliminates security risk, increases user satisfaction, maintains operations of all equipment, technical systems and facilities used by the organization. This Consultant will keep on top of the IT department overall ensuring there is always up-to-date documentation of all IT elements at the company and its subsidiaries. They will also oversee and supervise facilities needs including interacting with the landlord when needed, managing facilities budgets, directing routine maintenance, responding to emergencies, managing contractors, overseeing security and working to ensure all facilities needs are met at the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
IT
- Leads development and implementation processes for the organization’s IT systems and department, in keeping with the goals and strategic priorities of the organization.
- Responsible for delivery of IT services and the quality of service delivery, and acts as the final escalation point in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Continually identifies, recommends, and implements new information technologies and systems to improve company IT structure, processes, decision-making, and cybersecurity. Communicates these developments across the organization when needed
- Continuously acquires and maintains knowledge of best practices, emerging technologies and trends in information systems hardware, software, applications, as well as emerging security threats, technical challenges, and developments in system protection and IT security standards. - Leads an IT staff that works effectively and collaboratively to support system-wide technologies. Responsible for managing and developing technology staff.
- Develops and monitors adherence to IT policies.
- Develops and/or provides training and guidance to employees on acceptable use, risk management, incident response, and security protocols.
- Establishes and manages annual IT department budget.
- Analyzes IT infrastructure, systems performance, and company use to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
- Develops, implements, and maintains security protocols including intrusion detection and prevention systems to protect the organization’s information from breach or loss.
- Leads the emergency response communications as relates to IT and primarily responsible for responding to security breaches at facilities.
- Assists or participates in other emergency response situations as directed by a the Executive Director.
- Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
- Leads all IT capitalized project initiatives and is responsible for quality of delivery and ongoing services.
- Approves the purchase, rent, lease, license, or other acquisition of hardware, software, or services needed to meet company needs.
- Ensures that monitoring operations comply with all applicable government regulations and standards.
- Ensures consistent and adequate documentation.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining IT vendor and service provider relationships and negotiating vendor contracts.
FACILITIES
- Serves as building management liaison to field requests and resolve local issues
- Works with HR and building management on safety protocols and floor warden trainings as needed.
- Under the direction of the Executive Office, and working directly with Facilities Manager, handles office moves, space planning, and office relocations.
- Assures office environment is reflective of the style and tone of the organization.
- Oversees facilities team who handles all meeting room management, assists and approves department requests for meeting rooms.
- Oversees facilities contracts/scopes of work, including new vendor paperwork, submission and tracking of invoices, payments, and reconciling credit card statements as needed.
- Develops and implements departmental budget.

- Experience and expertise in running a multi-platform desktop and server environment as well as running servers in a virtualized environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain computer/data security policies and processes consistent with best practices and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of managing enterprise class systems that manage documents, and still/moving image digital assets (e.g., Content Management Systems, Digital and Media Asset Management Systems, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 25 to 30 pounds.
- Ability to maintain basic records and warranties, including understanding written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.
- Experience and knowledge in the latest trends in facilities management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or management, administrative and/or operational work experience or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 to 15 years of IT management and facilities management experience required. Experience/specialty in computer and cyber security a plus.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
- Experience managing a company’s facilities, equipment, and maintenance preferred.
Compensation: $85-110/hr
