Travel: 50–75% (primarily in the Southeast U.S., with some travel to CA, WA, and other states)
Compensation: $121,000–$145,000/year

Position Overview
A leading poultry processor is actively recruiting for a Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team. This fully remote role involves extensive travel to plants and facilities, focusing on driving process improvements, optimizing workplace design, and leading industrial engineering projects across multiple functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical and experienced professional to make a significant impact on operational efficiency and supply chain effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain engineered standards to improve efficiency.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and reduce waste.
- Design workplace layouts, including the arrangement of equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Optimize supply chain management, ensuring efficient flow of materials, information, and resources.
- Manage inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, storing, and shipping.
- Conduct statistical analysis and quality control to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform time and motion studies to analyze and improve worker movements and processes.
- Lead project management efforts to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to desired standards.
- Train facility managers in industrial engineering methodologies and tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Food manufacturing experience is required.
- Proven ability to support a manufacturing supply chain involving multiple steps or processes.
- Demonstrated experience leading industrial engineering projects across various functions.
- Certifications & Skills:
- Green Belt certification in Six Sigma is required.
- Strong analytical skills for data research, reporting, and interpretation.
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, SAP, simulation modeling, and time management software.
