Location: Remote
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 per year
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 25% or as needed

Position Summary:
Are you passionate about human resources and ready to take on a dynamic role that spans multiple states? GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a dedicated Regional Senior Human Resources Generalist to oversee HR functions across our branches in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This role is pivotal in ensuring our HR operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Remote Work and Travel:
The Regional Senior Human Resources Generalist will need to travel to branch offices across Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, North Carolina, and South Carolina as required. While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, the candidate must reside within the region, with a preference for those located in the DMV area. This ensures that the Generalist can effectively support and engage with the branches, fostering strong relationships and addressing HR needs promptly.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Guidance: Mentor and guide a team of HR Coordinators, contributing to the development of department goals and metrics.
- Policy Enforcement: Coordinate and enforce HR policies and procedures across all branches.
- HR Administration: Manage corporate HR plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with all employment laws and site contractual requirements.
- Claims & Benefits: Handle workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and benefits administration.
- Employee Relations: Investigate and resolve harassment, discrimination, and employee engagement claims, escalating as necessary.
- Recruitment Support: Collaborate with recruitment teams on screening, interviewing, job offers, and orientations.
- Training & Compliance: Train new HR personnel and maintain compliance with employee files and records.
- HRIS Management: Utilize HRIS (WinTeam) software for onboarding, updates, and reporting.
- Legal Support: Communicate employment law changes and support cases such as EEOC.
- Process Improvement: Analyze and recommend modifications to enhance branch effectiveness.

- Legal Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet multiple deadlines.
- Personal Qualities: Sense of urgency, persistence, courage, follow-through, detail-oriented, good judge of people, ability to read body language, and enthusiasm for the position and company.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years in a fast-paced HR environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
