Who You Are:Quiet Professionals, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Human Resources Generalist to support our HR initiatives and contribute to the company’s success during a critical growth phase. This role will focus on executing core HR functions, partnering with Professional Employer Organizations (PEO), and ensuring that HR practices comply with industry standards, state and federal regulations, and company objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, self-direction, resourcefulness, and a broad understanding of human resources, preferably within a defense contracting environment.
What You'll Do:Responsibilities:
- Execute and support HR strategies that align with Quiet Professionals' goals and objectives.
- Partner with the recruiting and HR teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure alignment with company needs.
- Manage key stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee development, and offboarding.
- Collaborate with PEO partners to:
- Streamline HR processes and automate administrative tasks.
- Enhance benefits offerings to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency.
- Access expert guidance on HR best practices and legal compliance.
- Maintain compliance with DoD-specific, federal, and state regulations to mitigate risks.
- Support the company’s affirmative action plan and labor law compliance efforts.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring the company’s ethics compliance program.
- Coordinate and deliver training and development programs to boost workforce productivity and engagement.
- Update and maintain HR policies to reflect best practices and organizational changes.
- Provide guidance and support for employee relations issues and conflict resolution, fostering a supportive and fair work environment.
- Conduct internal reviews of HR processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Act as a resource for employees and leadership, building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, within the defense contracting industry.
- Experience collaborating with PEO services and leveraging their tools for HR success.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, with a focus on the DoD sector.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant HR management software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HR compliance audits and affirmative action planning.
- Proven ability to support HR functions during periods of significant company growth.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
