Corgan is actively recruiting a dynamic Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join the firm as part of our shared Services Human Resources team. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities
•Represent our culture, philosophy, and brand professionally and enthusiastically as well as interact and communicate effectively with varying levels of professionals across our global footprint.
•Responsible for developing strong business relationships with their assigned business unit and enhancing day-to-day HR operations by being a diligent, responsible, organized and detail-oriented team player.
• Partner with leadership and enable leaders’ success to retain the exceptional and diverse team that activates a culture of performance excellence while continuously identifying areas to review, innovate and simplify.
• Take on high priority HR operational initiatives that will have organizational impact. Strategy development, leadership buy-in, implementation and execution will be a core responsibility.
• Evolve the organizational structure that enables our rapid growth path. Drive organizational change management as appropriate for departments supported, aligned with the broader change management approach.
• Provide consultation and coaching to leaders to drive engagement, support retention goals, and build action plans to minimize voluntary and regrettable turnover while increasing our engagement drivers.
• Design and execute effective people initiatives focused on program and process improvement and increasing HR operational efficiency and service
• Be an active member of a high performing HR team by modeling active engagement and collaboration across the HR team and shared services team members. Equip all managers to drive high quality talent, succession, performance and compensation routines and discussions.
• Be a senior resource for the HR Operations team to work through strategy and decision making.
Qualifications
• Project Management: Project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced & performance-oriented environment.
• Employee Relations Expertise: Primary escalation point in resolving conflicts/complaints - investigate complaints, prepare findings and resolutions for review by Human Resources leadership and the appropriate members of management
• Business Acumen & Critical Thinking: Understands organizational needs and best practices. Has the ability to diagnose organizational issues, facilitate discussion with leadership and provide recommendations to achieve maximum organizational performance and efficiencies.
• Talent & Performance Management: Able to provide sound guidance on performance and team effectiveness to enable managers and employees to achieve business goals. Can provide program management of high growth talent, development roadmaps, succession planning, compensation strategies and performance improvement.
• Collaboration + Partnership: Works effectively with teams, is comfortable in a close-knit, open feedback team environment and can give as well as get both kudos and constructive suggestions. Identifies areas for individuals and teams to learn from each other and makes connections across teams. Thoughtfully considers how events, challenges, new information and decisions may impact or connect to others. Consistently ensures that cross-functional partners and the voice of the client are represented in the design and delivery of people practices.
• Influence: Consult with and influence senior management on key organizational and management priorities. Understands how and when to drive change. Interacts seamlessly at all levels, provides sound suggestions, takes action, builds trust and credibility.
Must-Haves
• BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Design, or relevant field
• Minimum of 10+ years of broad Human Resources experience with 5+ years of experience for general employee relations, including coaching and counseling for managers and employees
• Strong and proven project management experience
• Demonstrated curiosity, business acumen and understanding of the “big picture”
• Experience driving change management in an organic, authentic, and flexible way
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments, prioritize, meet tight deadlines, and display initiative and innovation. Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in and manage ambiguity – dealing with issues that do not always have a process or a system in place
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication
