Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Role Overview:
The Senior HR Manager will play a key leadership role in overseeing all human resources functions across multiple business segments. This hands-on position requires a strategic and practical thinker with strong operational expertise, capable of aligning HR initiatives with the company's business goals. The Senior HR Manager will foster a positive work environment, ensure legal compliance, manage employee relations, and provide HR leadership as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* HR Leadership & Strategy: Lead HR activities across recruitment, performance management, training, employee relations, and compensation/benefits. Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company objectives and drive organizational success.
* Talent Management: Oversee recruitment and hiring processes to attract qualified candidates. Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee growth and productivity.
* Employee Development: Create and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and competencies, supporting career growth and succession planning.
* Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and ensure that company policies are followed, fostering a positive work culture.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Administer compensation and benefits packages in line with policies and legal requirements.
* Data-Driven HR: Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, making data-driven recommendations for HR processes and employee programs.
* Cultural Leadership: Actively contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative workplace culture, serving as a champion of company values and enhancing employee engagement.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or construction environment.
* Leadership: Proven success in leading HR initiatives, from everyday employee relations to strategic organizational development.
* Problem-Solving: Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving HR-related challenges, with the ability to optimize HR processes and drive employee compliance.
* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
* HR Expertise: In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations. Experience in supporting cultural change, especially in manufacturing or construction settings.
* Certifications: PHR or SPHR certification is a plus. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is ideal, though not a requirement.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with HRIS, payroll systems (e.g., Paycom or ADP), and related HR software tools.
* Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
* Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually (based on experience).
