Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Senior HR Generalist is accountable for assisting the Manager with San Ramon Regional Medical Center’s employee and labor relations’ activity. Ensures understanding and interpretation of policies, procedures, and programs to enhance management/staff relations. Functions as a resource and advisor to management on employee and labor relations matters. Listens to employee concerns and informs management of issues or concerns. Tracks and trends employee concerns and develops action plans to address them. Meets with managers and employees, investigating issues and recommending solutions. Communicates regularly with other members of the HR Department, which may impact, or be impacted by, various employee issues. Accountable for assisting Manager with San Ramon Regional Medical Center labor relations’ activity for all Collective Bargaining Agreements. Works with all levels of management to assure the consistent application of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years recent experience in Human Resources required
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems, ORACLE supported applications
- SHRM-CP or PHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred
- Labor Relations experience required
Pay range: $40.89 - $50.55 hourly
