We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to the business in line with organizational goals. This role will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results. The candidate will also have a broad knowledge of human resources as well as general business management and operations. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to the senior leadership team, providing expert guidance on a variety of HR matters, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, including adherence to FMLA, 401K, and other relevant policies.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment, maintaining a strong culture that emphasizes employee engagement, performance, and professional development.
- Oversee the administration of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs using HRIS systems such as UKG, ADP, and Ultipro.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including dispute resolutions and terminations.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
- Handle all garnishments and levies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Professional certification in Human Resources (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with HR metrics and HRIS systems (UKG, ADP, Ultipro).
- Demonstrated competence in various HR functional areas (talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, FMLA, 401K, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of HR legal regulations and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to make decisions.
- Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead teams to achieve results.
