Reporting to: Senior Director of Electrical Engineering
Your role in the mission:
Type One Energy is seeking a Senior HMI-GUI Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing the HMI interfaces for system operation, service and engineering. You will help provide company-wide tools, libraries and frameworks for consistent and cross-platform HMI interfaces. You will collaborate with physicists, engineers and developers will be required to meet the needs of end users.
What you’ll need:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- HMI Modeling – MVVM, MVC
- HMI Design Tools – Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
- UML Modeling for Software – Class, Sequence, State Machine, Data Flow
- Qt Development Framework – Qt Widgets and Qt QMLQt Creator
- Qt Design Studio
- Languages - C/C++, Python, UML, Command-Line Interfaces – Bash, Git
- Operating Systems – Linux, Windows
- Build Automation – CMAKE, Ninja, Jenkins, Ansible
- Cross Platform Development – Desktop, Mobile, Web
- OpenGL, 3D, Animation
- Physics, Scientific applications
- Software Development Processes – Architecture, Design and Interface Documentation, Requirements, Tracing, Testing, Continuous Integration
- Software Development Tools – Automated Build, Archiving, Versioning, Debugging
