Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Senior Healthcare Project Manager in a remote capascity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Senior Healthcare Project Manager in a remote capascity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving the strategic, tactical and operational delivery planning and execution for high visibility work across large-scale, complex projects.
- Overall management, tracking and reporting of cross-functional, project-oriented work efforts, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, adhering to high quality standards, and remain aligned to the objectives of the project.
- Work closely with IT leaders, project teams and various stakeholders in the impacted delivery areas to ensure risks are mitigated, issues are resolved, resource gaps are addressed, and project remains aligned to the strategy objectives of the Portfolio.
- Review project financials, evaluating against the approved financial targets and benefits goals, and ensure the creation of action plans to address variances and effectively manage change controls.
- Provide analysis and decision-making support for project prioritization.
- Assist the PMO with delivering continuous improvements to PMO best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, project management or related field, or equivalent experience desired
- Candidate must have proven IT project management & leadership skills.
- 10+ years of project management experience leading large cross functional initiatives
- 5-7 years of experience with projects /portfolios in an agile environment
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Process-oriented with quality mindset, strong organization, and planning skills
- Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software working in an agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe or other scaling model
- Demonstrated effectiveness operating in a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of delivering results and monitoring deliverables.
- Strong collaboration & relationship building skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, embracing change and helping others see it as an opportunity and stay focused on goals while adapting to change.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, along with excellent presentation skills for a senior leader audience.
- Works well with larger groups from a wider range of organizations, as well as reporting out to senior executives.
- Able to recognize and mediate team & stakeholder level conflict.
- Working knowledge of Jira preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
