We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing soil and rock properties, analyzing data, and providing technical guidance on geotechnical projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and analyses for various projects
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into design and construction processes
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Review and evaluate project proposals to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations
- Manage and oversee geotechnical testing and monitoring activities
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) license is required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and earth retaining structures
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
