Our client is a multi-billion dollar alternative asset manager that utilizes various strategies to meet their investors’ objectives. They are currently seeking a Senior Fund Controller for their credit arm that will help build out this team and report into the CFO. This position will work 3 days/week out of their office in downtown Boston and is targeting a base salary in the $140k-$160k range plus 25% bonus.

They are currently seeking a Senior Fund Controller for their credit arm that will help build out this team and report into the CFO. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and partner’s capital statements across fund vehicles
- Coordination of the valuation process and preparation of associated papers for valuation committee
- Identify potential improvements to the operational processes and activities of the team, proposing and leading implementation of methods for more efficient and effective working across the operating platforms
- Oversee the preparation and dissemination of fund vehicle distributions and capital calls
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful operational delivery. Determine and apply best operating practices to ensure efficiency is maximized
- Work closely with independent auditors, especially during the preparation of the year-end audited financial statements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA license preferred
- 6-10 years of private credit experience in private or public accounting
- Fluent in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to identify and manage operational risk
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability
