We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join our finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers excellent growth opportunities for individuals who are motivated and eager to make a significant impact. The Senior Fund Accountant will play a crucial role in our company, managing our financial resources, ensuring compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and maintaining our financial records with accuracy.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review financial statements and reports ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and financial regulations.
2. Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations including but not limited to, general ledger, journal entries, intra-company transactions, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
3. Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual financial filings.
4. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
5. Participate in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies.
6. Assist in the preparation of year-end tax reports and liaise with tax consultants.
7. Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
8. Provide financial analysis and forecasts to assist in strategic decision making.
9. Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. An advanced degree such as an MBA or a professional certification like a CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in fund accounting or related field, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Proficient in GAAP and experience with journal entries.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data and information to non-financial individuals.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
7. Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
9. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
