Position Overview:
The Senior Fund Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting and financial statements of the Company’s high net worth funds vehicles. The Senior Fund Accountant will work closely with the corporate finance team and investment teams.

The Senior Fund Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting and financial statements of the Company’s high net worth funds vehicles. The Senior Fund Accountant will work closely with the corporate finance team and investment teams.
Essential Functions:
This hands-on, detail-oriented position will:
- Coordinate and summarize all communications with fund GPs including capital calls, distributions, amendments and tax reporting
- Track daily cash activity, including prompting administrator wires, funding investments and overseeing invoice/expense payments
- Managing fund forecasts and comparing to actuals
- Updating weekly cash projections and liquidity analysis
- Provide assistance with updates to portfolio management data (OMNI) and weekly reconciliation
- Assist in the preparation quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Assist in the preparation of monthly net asset value
- Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audit
- Perform operational due diligence for each new GP and investment
- Support the accounting team in the closing of transactions, including responding to information requests, review of allocations, review of reporting requirements and other support and analysis as needed
- Support various fund administrators and coordinate delivery of required reporting, etc.
- Summarize and track annual partnership K-1s for each fund
- Respond to investor, sub-adviser and team member requests in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with daily work associated with accounting and reporting functions
- Process, track and summarize expenses across all funds
- Assist with preparation of monthly investment valuation
- Assist with preparation of company dashboards and board decks
- Perform other duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate
- Must possess a four-year college degree with a major in Accounting
- One to three years of accounting or audit experience
- Previous experience with Investment Company Accounting and ASC 820 (FAS 157) preferred
- Previous experience with private credit investments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities against key deadlines
- Must be able to work independently, but contribute in a team-oriented environment
- CPA preferred
