A Senior Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle for software development and the application in production. The position will include the technical analysis of requirements, development of the software, automated testing, builds, deployment, monitoring, and feedback.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Assist in all facets of life cycle development and O&M for the application
• Provide development and O&M support for a production Java application with an Oracle backend and Tomcat/JBoss application server during core working hours and non-core working hours as needed to meet mission needs
• Provide development support to re-engineer an application front-end using React
• Gather, analyze and develop enhancement specifications/requirements provided by the system owner

The position may be located at a government facility in Washington, D.C., or in Huntsville, AL and typically requires work to be performed onsite. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Technica considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, location, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

• Active Top-Secret Clearance, with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
• Development experience required in the following technologies/areas: React, Java 8 (JEE development), Spring Framework 5+, Spring Boot 2, JavaScript/AJAX, Hibernate 5+, SQL/RDBMS (Oracle and PostgreSQL), RESTful Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Red Hat JBoss, Linux (RHEL, CentOS), Eclipse IDE, Maven build tool, and Git
• User Interface (UI) developing skills using React and JavaScript application development
• Experience in the following technologies/areas: AWS (Console, RDS, S3, EBS, AMIs, IaaS)
• Experience in full software development life cycle
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and Kanban frameworks/methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian tools to include Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and automation
