About the Job
In this role you will be creating firmware for SEL's flagship revenue and power quality meters that play a critical role in SEL energy management solutions. You will have the ability to work with multi-functional teams, and create innovative solutions that enhance the world's critical power infrastructure.
As a Senior Firmware Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
Lead the specification, architecture, design, implementation, and test of firmware/software systems.
Understand hardware and firmware interactions, and collaborate with Hardware Engineers.
Develop requirements, designs, tests, firmware and documentation.
Lead and mentor Engineers and Technicians.
Serve as a technical contact for internal and external customers.
Attend industry technical meetings and conferences as needed.
This job might be for you if you:
Possess a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Understand hardware, FPGA and firmware interactions, and collaborate with Hardware, RTL and Software Engineers.
Have 10+ years experience in one or more the following areas:

Pay Range Data
We anticipate filling this position as a Software Engineer $100,900.00 - $168,100. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
