Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to bolster our team, supporting a range of financial management initiatives across diverse public sector clients. The Senior Consultant will collaborate closely with senior team members, contributing to financial analysis, process evaluation, due diligence, and the preparation of reports and presentations tailored for decision-makers. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct thorough research and gather pertinent data to underpin program and project initiatives.
Assist in crafting reports and presentations targeted at senior management and stakeholders.
Undertake ad hoc analysis and provide support for special projects as needed.
Aid in financial analysis and the development and maintenance of quantitative models.
Conduct due diligence on potential investments, encompassing financial and industry analysis.
Engage in collaborative brainstorming sessions to devise innovative solutions and recommendations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in finance, consulting, or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
Ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, R, Python, or SAS.
