The Opportunity
Our location in Abbott Park, IL currently has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst – Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain
WHAT YOU’LL DO
A challenging global position within Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain that allows for experiences in FP&A activities and reporting within a global environment. The ANSC Senior Financial Analyst ensures timely and accurate delivery of financial performance reporting for Total AN Supply Chain. Reports to ANSC Manager FP&A. Supports the preparation of presentations and financial reporting for senior leaders. This role requires effective interaction with multiple Nutrition Supply Chain areas. Provides direct support to DVP of Global Supply Operations and DVP of Strategy.
Key Job Activities:
- Coordinate and consolidate Actuals reporting along with Plant production results for total Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain.
- Includes coordinating deadlines, updating and distributing templates, consolidating variance commentary and communicating with multiple locations across Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain.
- Submit and ensure the integrity of month end deferral and amortization journal entries; maintain sound internal controls.
- Coordinate and prepare leadership presentation of Monthly Management Package.
- Coordinate and prepare quarterly forecast Reference Package for ANSC Controller.
- Support ANSC HQ budgets +$50MM of spend and serve as dedicated financial support to DVP of Global Supply Operations and DVP of Strategy, preparing and presenting quarterly forecasts, communicating month end variances and completing monthly accruals and reclasses.
- Lead the annual OH Budget allocations process to Product Costs
- Liaison for various ad-hoc requests between Operations and Plant finance personnel.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis, as directed by management, and develop alternative course of action by utilizing appropriate financial tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING
Required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably Business Administration, Finance concentration. MBA/CPA preferred, but not required.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office Applications, with a specific focus on Excel, working. knowledge of SAP/Symphony, Host Analytics Applications and Data Analytics tools such as Power BI and Alteryx preferred.
- 5+ years of financial experience with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A self-starter and highly motivated with attention to detail.
- Prior Supply Chain or Manufacturing Plant experience.
- Multi geographical experience along with large site experiences.
- Strong analytical and communication (oral and written) skills plus ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines; must be able to handle multiple competing priorities.
- To be truly effective, the role must be able to operate independently, balancing demands from a variety of customers with potentially conflicting goals.

The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
