As a Permanent Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our Accounting and Finance team. This position is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is ready to take their career to the next level. This role will have you working alongside our dynamic team to drive financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including the development of financial models and analysis of key business drivers.
2. Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, identifying trends and monitoring KPIs to support decision-making and strategic planning.
3. Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business needs, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and capital expenditure analysis.
4. Manage cash flow forecasting and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial information is recorded accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
6. Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookup, to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
7. Conduct financial audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
8. Develop and present financial reports to senior management, providing clear and concise insights into the financial health of the business.
9. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive financial understanding and accountability throughout the organization.
10. Participate in strategic planning initiatives, providing financial expertise and guidance.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other data analysis functions.
4. Experience with financial modeling and FP&A.
5. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
6. Experience with financial audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
7. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Strong strategic thinking abilities, with the ability to support strategic planning initiatives with financial expertise and guidance.
10. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
