Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst
Analyze past results, identify trends, and perform variance analysis.
Investigate operational and financial results, recommending improvements.
Perform monthly product costing variance analysis and price volume mix analysis for key product categories.
Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product categories, benchmarking sales, costs, and margins.
Prepare and analyze factory dashboards to support decision-making.
Own and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity across tools such as AARO, Planful, M3 ERP, and QlikView.
Assist in reporting metrics and results to corporate headquarters.
Educate internal stakeholders on financial performance metrics and dashboards.
Take on special projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Analytics (Master’s degree a plus).
5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial acumen.
Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or M3.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
